Blocks Magazine Issue 10 - Available Now

It’s the day of the month when the latest issue of Blocks hits the shelves. This issue takes a Batman focus, with a look back at LEGO Batman, Batmobile comparisons and a review of the new Jokerland set. There’s plenty else in there too, including LEGO Inside Tour coverage, tips on water techniques and the history of LEGO Comic Con sets.

Working in Black: The Story of LEGO Batman is a piece I provided that covers Batman in bricks, from the first sets in 2006 to today. Elsewhere Chris Wharfe looks at The Batmbile and compares the various iterations over the years. There are also LEGO Batman reviews and Brickpicker analysis.

There’s a healthy dose of Star Wars, with my write-up of the May 4th LEGOLAND Windsor Resort event. There’s also a review of Death Star Final Duel (75093) and some of DK’s new releases.

Elsewhere there is great coverage of the LEGO Inside Tour, a unique opportunity to see what goes on during this exclusive event. In Urban Ninjas, Alec Hole looks at how Ninjago has been promoted in a new way. I have also provided a look back at Comic Con in Something for the Fanboys, where Simon Pickard and I take opposing views on the exclusive products.

In the regular features, Simon Pickard explains some great water techniques. Custom Corner looks at the Star Trek team and mini babies. There’s great stuff in Blocks Showcase and Flickr Finds, including an interview with Mark and Steve Erickson. Finally, the Brick Wife gives her unique slant on the polybag problem!

That only skims the surface of what#’s included in Blocks Issue 10, as there’s 116 pages full of LEGO goodness!
